There are several applications and connectors for HubSpot, making it a powerful platform. Some of these connectors are unknown while others are very popular. These connectors can definitely increase the productivity of marketing and sales teams. Using these connectors can help you accelerate the return on investment of the HubSpot platform.
So here are 12 connectors and applications that can be used with HubSpot to improve the productivity of your marketing and sales teams. I’ve also provided links to the HubSpot knowledge base to help you configure the tools.
1. Gmail or Outlook
Obviously, these two are a must. By using your Gmail or Outlook account connection, you don’t have to use the HubSpot platform to log all your emails and contacts. Simply connect your account to HubSpot and install the HubSpot for Gmail (or Outlook) application and you’re done. You can add your contacts directly to your mailbox. You can also choose to “track” emails, that is to say to be informed if the person opens your email.
Directly inDirectly in Gmail or Outlook, you can also quickly access the contact’s file to add notes, opportunities, complete the contact’s file or add tasks. All these elements are then visible in the right sidebar of your application. This is a tool that is completely free since HubSpot’s CRM is free.
The big advantage here is that it doesn’t take any more time to use HubSpot CRM. In fact, you save time by using this connection. Isn’t that the point of a CRM after all?

2. Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar
Another free connector is the connection with your Outlook or Gmail calendar. Just like the Calendly tool, you can create links for your contacts to save an appointment directly in your calendar, according to your availability. You will save a lot of email by using this feature. The appointment is automatically added to your calendar and that of your contact. It is possible to create several different links with different availabilities. It is integrated in the HubSpot plug-in for Gmail and Outlook. The link is easily integrated into your emails. You can even add it to your signature if you want. What's interesting is that you can consult statistics to know which prospecting email generates the most appointments, everything is automatically recorded in the platform. 3. LinkedIn, Facebook & Google Ads
Not many people know that HubSpot can manage your campaigns directly on the platform. HubSpot not only allows you to create campaigns, but obviously to track them. For example, if you create a lead generation campaign (with a form on LinkedIn), your leads will be directly integrated into HubSpot.
My colleague Cécilia published an article on this subject recently. HubSpot also allows you to manage your social media and automate posts on Facebook and LinkedIn. The statistics of your posts are transferred directly into HubSpot, you can track the engagement rate and identify the most popular posts.

4. WordPress
WordPress is by far the most used CMS on the internet. The WordPress plug-in provides direct access to HubSpot in WordPress. More precisely, it allows you to manage forms, popups, access your contacts and create chatbots. Note that HubSpot also developped its own CMS Hub and we absolutely love it!

5.Salesforce
Unless I'm mistaken, HubSpot was still using Salesforce as a CRM in 2017. Initially, HubSpot did not offer the CRM part of its platform, but only the Marketing Hub. This is the reason why Salesforce and HubSpot connect hyper well together. The connection, while it may seem surprising, is even better than Pardot & Salesforce. What's interesting is that you don't have to do any special technical configuration. All database synchronization can be configured directly in HubSpot.

6. Shopify
Shopify's success is undeniable. Like HubSpot, Shopify is growing rapidly. The connection of Shopify and HubSpot is very well done. Just like the one with Salesforce, everything can be configured directly in HubSpot. You can later generate reports and automations. Recently, HubSpot has improved the connection by allowing you to easily set up email reminders for abandoned shopping carts.
7. Google Docs & Sheets
It is possible to connect to Google Docs with HubSpot. This allows you to upload files directly into HubSpot from Google Docs. A really interesting feature is the ability to add data to a Google Spreadsheet in an automated way with workflows.

8. Vidyard
Vidyard is a video creation tool that allows you, for example, to make a demo of an application and share it by email or on social media. This software is interesting for 'video selling', a concept that is becoming more and more popular. You can simply, from your browser, record what you are doing. The recording of your screen can also be used for technical support. It is then possible to insert these videos into emails - the tool is synchronized with HubSpot. You'll also get statistics that show whether the recipient of your email opened the video and what the viewing percentage is. If you use the paid version of Vidyard, the statistical data of your video views will be available on HubSpot and you can create (automated) workflows or contact lists based on this data.

9. Zoom
Everyone knows Zoom by now. The platform allows you to hold virtual meetings, but it also allows you to manage and broadcast webinars. The connection with HubSpot is very useful since it allows you to synchronize the contacts who register and those who participate in webinars. You then have access to statistics, such as the number of minutes viewed and the number of participants.

10. MailChimp
Admittedly, the cost of HubSpot marketing is too high for those who only want to send newsletters. It is better to use a tool like MailChimp and synchronize the data with HubSpot. So you can use HubSpot's CRM and use Marketing Starter. You will be able to create landing pages with HubSpot and do mass mailings (for a newsletter for example) with MailChimp.

11. Facebook Messenger
Although HubSpot offers a very powerful chat tool and chatbot, it is also possible to connect Messenger with HubSpot. Messenger is mostly recommended for B2C businesses.

12. Quickbooks
Quickbooks is a cloud-based accounting software that is extremely powerful. In fact, it is known for its automation features. Quickbooks connects very well with HubSpot. You can synchronize contact data, companies and of course invoices. You can then create invoices directly in HubSpot or in Quickbooks, the data will be synchronized, one way or both, automatically or not. Within HubSpot, your representatives will be able to see if the invoices have been paid or not. You can then automate actions (e.g. emails, tasks) related to the data collected in Quickbooks.

13. Operations Hub
When I started writing this article, HubSpot had not announced the launch of Operations Hub. This new HubSpot module allows connection with syncing (either one way or both ways) with 25 platforms such as Microsoft 365, SalesForce, AirCall, MailChimp, ZenDesk, Magento 2, Stripe and Zoho CRM.
Synchronization features are included for free for all HubSpot customers. The full list of applications you can manage data synchronization with in Operations Hub is available here: Data sync by HubSpot.
I hope this article has convinced you to connect other software with HubSpot. The more you use HubSpot as a platform, the more you'll get out of using it! This will undoubtedly greatly improve the productivity of your sales and marketing teams.
